Durometer
Durometer is the hardness of a wheel, longboard or skateboard. The duros go from
78a to 99a, softest to hardest. When choosing your duro you have to acount for
your evironment and what you're going to be doing while riding. If you're a
freeride sort of person you're going to want to choose a wheel that is kind of
hard (around 80a to about 99a). If you're going to be just cruising around town,
you might want to choose softer wheels for softer riding. If you're racing a lot
and going at high speeds, you may want to get grippier wheels (around 80a) so
you have lots of traction.
